Russell W. Reddell, D.D.S
Dr. Russell W. Reddell is a TTU Alumni and a Baylor College of Dentistry graduate. He has practiced in private, corporate, and community sectors and the state of Texas. For the past eight years, Dr. Reddell has worked for Lubbock Supported Living Center (Individuals with Special Needs). When he began this journey, his oldest was diagnosed with Autism. That being said, Dr. Reddell and his family became very blessed to be surround by individuals that could and would help them through the tough transition. After a few years, Dr. Reddell was promoted to State Dental Director. This promotion gave him the responsibility of all thirteen Supported Living Centers in Texas. Shortly after this promotion, Dr. Reddell wrote new policies and procedures to be implemented throughout the state. One of the most life changing procedures was implementing the practice of anesthesia. Of course, this change did not go over well at first. Other dentist continued to use physical restraint. However, Dr. Reddell continued to prove how anesthesia is best for Individuals with Special Needs. As more individuals have been placed in the community and the need has grown, Dr. Reddell has decided to bring his knowledge and skill to the community. Shawn Seifikar, D.D.S.
After obtaining his DDS degree from Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr. Shawn Seifikar completed a three-year post-doctoral dental anesthesiology residency program, a unit of the medical anesthesiology residency program administered through the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) medical education program. His education and training experiences were directed and coordinated by the faculty of the department of Dental Anesthesiology within the School of Dental Medicine and the department of Anesthesiology within the School of Medicine. His anesthesiology training consisted of medical rotations in internal medicine, critical care, chronic pain and anesthesiology at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Montefiore Hospital, Magee Women's Hospital, Saint Margaret's Hospital, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Center for Special Needs Patients at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Dental Medicine.
